YIOTIS was founded in 1930 and is a Greek, family business with more than 377 people. It’s experienced scientists and state-of-art equipment guarantee the administrative and technical support of any research and investment project. The activity of YIOTIS is constantly expanding with the production of new innovative products, with the flag of baby food, but also mixtures of bakery, confectionery, drinks, desserts, etc. In 2017 the company founded the Hellenic Center for Research and Innovation with branches in Athens and Agrinio, which offers high level laboratory analyzes in the food industry. The company has participated in more than 30 national and European research projects.

ThetaMetrisis was founded in 2008 as a result of the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (INN) of NCSR "Demokritos". The company designs and manufactures integrated film and coating systems for a wide range of applications. ThetaMetrisis from the beginning of its operation aimed at the international market from which today 90% of its revenues come. The company has participated in national and European research projects. It also participates in two business clusters: Hellenic Bio Cluster and Hellenic Photonics Cluster.

The Laboratory of Nanotechnology and Microsystems, ENM, is the National Center of Excellence in Micro / Nano-electronics, Nanotechnology and Microsystems and operates and managed by the Department of Microelectronics within the INN of NCSR "Demokritos". The laboratory conducts research in the manufacture of innovative electronic and photonic circuits and silicon devices, integrated circuits, sensors, microfluidic devices, and MOEMS / NOEMS systems. Since its inception, it has been continuously involved in European and national research projects, provides high-tech services at national and European level, and supports start-ups.

The Immunoassays - Immunosensors Laboratory is one of the laboratories of IPRETEA of NCSR "Demokritos". The laboratory conducts research in the fields of preparation and characterization of immune reagents and antibodies, development of immunosensors and DNA sensors, chemical and biological activation of surfaces and characterization of bioactivated surfaces. It has participated in a significant number of projects funded by the EU, the GSRT and the IAEA.

The Laboratory of Microbiology and Food Biotechnology of the Agricultural University of Athens was founded in 1994. The laboratory serves educational, and research needs in the following disciplines: microorganisms that appear or are used in food industries (pathogenic and non-pathogenic), applications of biotechnological methods for the development of new food production techniques, high value-added products and utilization of by-products of the food industry.

PRAXI network provides technology transfer services to small and medium enterprises and research laboratories throughout the country. It is an organic unit of the Institute of Technology and Research. It is a member of the European business support network and coordinator of the Greek network of the same name. It has the role of the National Contact Point for the Framework Programs for Research and Technological Development and Horizon 2020.

SEVT represents the Greek Food and Beverage Industry at national, European and international level. Its members are Sectoral Associations but also many companies in the Food Sector. SEVT's mission is to develop and maintain an environment conducive to the industry and attractive for investment so that businesses can grow and meet the modern needs of consumers and society.
